Towards Agile Government is the culmination of nine month collaboration between the State Services Authority in Australia and Demos, the UK think tank. The project set out to explore the concept of agility and how it can assist government to meet the needs of citizens in the short term, adapt to trends and issues in the medium term, and shape public needs over the long term. The presentation will examine what agility in government means and how it can equip government and the public sector to operate in a changing and uncertain world. Using Victorian case studies, the presentation will explore how public sector agencies are pursuing agile approaches to address emerging challenges.
